Please stop posting questions in the Articles section. They have been deleted.

Your question is too general. This is a help forum for technical programming questions. You are asking someone to do what looks like your homework for you. This is not going to happen. If you have a specific question you need to ask then do so.

Please read the Posting Guidelines for this site. In particular the issue regarding homework questions.

      Heya, SylaIV.

What do you mean by 'library system'? Are you building a circulation / inventory system for a physical library? Or did you mean something along the lines of software libraries?

What kind of application will you be writing? Will it be web-based? Do you want to write a platform application?

Do you have a preference when it comes to Mac vs. Linux vs. Windows?

I must say that your questions are extremely vague and are open enough that one could write a thesis based on some the content. Have you done any research into this up till now? What is prompting this project? Is it a pet project or something you are thinking about doing for someone?

The questions could be brainstormed on literally for days and days. One of your best resources may be your local library/librarian. They would have the most experience with the "manual" way of doing things and could more than certainly express their dislikes and what their opinions are of an electronic system vs. a manual system.

On another note, I did a quick search and did find an extremely polished ( Mac based) application that seems to be pretty sweet and is only $40.

        Regards,

        Jeff
