localhost not working

hello everyone,

When i try to run my application on localhost.I am getting
"The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." error and the page is not opening. Also in the url it is displaying like "localhost. com"

If anyone have any idea to resolve this please reply me.

u mean u type http://localhost/ and it's turned http://localhost.com ??

if this is true check hosts file on your pc.

it's directory depends on your OS so just go to c:/ and search for it.

and search for some thing like this

127.0.0.1 localhost.com

edit localhost.com to localhost
