    PHP mail() function help

    hey all,

    just need some assistance with setting up php. the mail() function doesn't seem to be working, no errors or anything. i was wondering if i'm missing something in the config of php - specifically, do i need to have a sendmail_from value specified? is there anything else i should look at if it still doesn't work?

    fyi: running php 5.05 on a linux system with apache 2.0

    thanks for any input!!

    Heya, subey.

    Make sure you have error reporting turned on (http://bytes.com/topic/php/answers/6...gging-messages).

      Hi Subey,

      I have used the mail() functions quite a lot in PHP. I now have them wrapped in a class definition making it really easy to use. If you post your code I can take a look over it and see if there is anything missing/wrong.

      People here on bytes love to help and we love to see the code we are helping on.

      Cheers
