What software component? What do you mean by "discount asp.net" ?

I am trying to install activeX third party component in the in the server, the discount asp.net is an web hosting server.

If it requires an actual install, unless you are paying for a Virtual Private Server, it is very unlikely that you have access to install anything.

I suggest you contact Discount ASP.NET support. You'll get better help from the people that work there than from us, who probably have never used that particular web host.
