How does one change "apple"+"," to NOT open up the preferences in FF

I keep fat fingering the silly "APPLE + ," and getting the preference box up in Firefox. Problem is, that it changed focus and then deletes my home page choice. :P This happens very time I'm on Chat. That because my brain does not use the correct part of my brain for chat (like it does writing a story) and instead sends goofy signals to my fingers which results in more fat fingering. I actually almost type perfectly when I'm typing a story. I rarely fat finger. Its annoying!

    Thanks!

    Yes, I do have a 10.04 mac Powerbook g4.
    It does have a terminal.
I would need the detailed instruction as if this was going into the book for dummies. ;)
    Many thanks!

you can try to add a new keyboard shortcut for the preferences in the preference pane, keyboard & mouse section.

Sorry! Didn't work! However, I think its a Firefox coding thing that can't be changed through Mac directly. However, if there is a configuration file for Firefox that would be cool. I just looked and it doesn't look like theres anything I can change. :P Oh well. Thanks anyways.

firefox’s settings are in about:config, but I doubt you’ll find there anything useful.

i found it. lol I should have known it was a URL. I have seen something very similiar to it before. Anyways, I didn't find anything useful for the short key change, but I did change my default Character set back to Western. I did have it UTF-8, but I'm not really viewing my site more than other sites. lol
              thanks!
