    SVN crazy console

    Hi!

Why my svn client makes that strange encoding:

    etam:djangofram e etam$ svn update
    Pomini?\196?\15 3to '.'

    ?!

    It should be 'Pominięto'. The ?\196?\153 = ę :/.

    Thanks in advance,
    Etam.

Looks like the encoding is wrong. Luckily, you can set it manually:

Tells Subversion that your commit message is encoded in the charset provided. The default is your operating system's native locale, and you should specify the encoding if your commit message is in any other encoding.

My commit messages are OK in UTF-8. The console output is wrong...
