Window won't maximize using settings in window.open

Typical problem i faced today ..

i know format of window.open is ..
window.open(url _name,[win_name,style])

i set the style earlier that resize = no then it works properly but whenever i reset it to resize = yes or remove this style still the browser window can't be maximized ...

my browser is ie...

can anyone help me out ..

According to this, you cannot set the properties after the window is opened.
