    Safari displays images with wrong orientation

    Well, not all of them, but many. Some are upright, some are sideways, and some are upside down. In the images folder, the pictures are upright, of course, but when I view the web page on my iPad (in Safari), this problem occurs. When I preview the pages on Safari using my Dell laptop, they display correctly. And they display correctly in Firefox, IE, and Chrome. I haven't done any web design in many years and am perplexed. I found a CSS code to put in my style sheet, see below, but it doesn't work.

    img {
    image-orientation: from-image;
    }

    It is not placed in the "body" part of the CSS sheet. Could that be the problem?

    The images DO NOT display correctly in Firefor either.

    Also, I put the above code into the "body" section of the style sheet and it still does not work correctly.

    The only change in my work is that I have been using my iPhone to take photos, as opposed to my old digital camera.
