website compatiblity

please i have problem,i am currently developing a site
but my problem is that it is not compatible with all browsers,i use fire fox to design but when a tested it
in internet explorer the design change.please i want to advice me on what to do

I would start by running the HTML through the w3c validator and correcting any errors it finds.

After you have corrected your errors (and warnings), try your website in all of the browsers you are targeting. It should be fine if its valid HTML.
