    problems with site rendering in IE

    Iam new to building websites and recently have had issues with some sites not displaying properly in IE on a pc they look fine on the mac in all browsers. Need urgent help.

    ive put up a test page on www.pyott.co.uk/iq/big-image.html

    can anyone help and explain why ....its very frustrating I know its something iam doing i just cant see it

    Looks alright to me.

    You need to understand something about IE. It sucks. It does not conform to agreed rules that everyone else does, and is only used so much because it comes with Windows. You can include specific stylesheets which will only be used in IE like here describes.

      thanks ive found that the <br> in the text seems to push out the tables in i.e 7 and 8. Its truely a rubbish browser but unfortunitly all my clients seem to use it.
