IE8 does not display images

I am stuck with this problem from a long time ...Have tried to troubleshoot, but in vain...

Images on my website show up in Google chrome, but NOT in IE8.

How did you create these images. I get this error message when I try to open the image it in Paintshop Pro.

The colorspace of this file is unknown?
