Drupal exe

Hi ppl,
I have downloaded drupal; used for website developing; from some cnet site of free download softwares.
I had got it in zip file, i extracted it..but there is no .exe or .dll file in it..
Is there some other way of installing it?

My guess is that Drupal is a collection of libraries you include with your own coding. Drupal isn't a program.

Are you talking about Drupal, the PHP CMS?

That is not a program used to develop websites. It is a website, containing many of the popular features you see in many websites (blog, forum, etc...), that you can then edit into your own website.

You don't install it. You just set it up as you would any other website, and access it in your browser.

You are right it's not a program; look i had downloaded Drupal from the same webiteDrupal as written by you... but how do i set it up?
Am really interested in knowing how will i include it?

On that same site I linked earlier there is a Support page, which includes a Getting Started section and an Installation Guide.

You should start by checking those out. If that doesn't answer your questions, you may also want to search their forums. Drupal has a pretty active community.

Drupal is content management system; a program on website, allowing webmaster to make changes in contents of website; without knowing code of it. Its an open source product.
