I need some help with divs

I'm currently building a new site from scratch for my work. Unfortunately, when I started, I knew next to nothing about website design. The current site is http://testsite.pineap plepress.com. Depending on the screen resolution, my co-workers and I have discovered that some people need to scroll to see everything. I though I could do a quick-fix and just move everything over to the left. The div with the header stays in place regardless of the placement I type in. The body div moves to the left just fine. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this? I don't know HTML and I've built the site using Dreamweaver CS4. I'd prefer if if I could center both divs, but I'd be quite happy if I could just get them both on the left. Thanks for any help you all can give.

an immediate fix would be to realign the positioned container divs. currently they are at 350+ px. if you set that to 0, you have them on the left side.

I tried that and it works for the div that encompasses everything below my header. However, my header stays in the center no matter what I do.

Cause you do the same thing to your header.
