    how to place two images in one ul tag

    Hi,

    I have a navigation menu, in that i have submenus. for that i used gradient image as background. i sliced that images into three as top.gif, middle1.gif and bottom.gif. since it it grow in all the menus based on there items.

    here i placed sample code of that

    Code:
    #navigation ul li ul{background: url(images/top1.gif) top center no-repeat;}
    #navigation ul li ul li {display: block;width:157px;z-index:99;background: url(images/middle1.gif) top center repeat-y;vertical-align:top;}

    now the problem is i have to add the bottom image. i dont know where to add that image.

    Can any one help me in this please.

    Thanks and Regards

    A few solutions....

    Firstly..... put an empty li tag at the bottom with the footer image in it.. and give it its own class name....

    Use a div instead of a ul, and in side that div... have a head div, middle div and a footer div.... and in the middle div put the ul.

    If you show me your html i'll tell you what i would do.... or provide me with a link

    Working...
