Anyone know how to make the right part of a div header a background color..?

    Still struggling with css.
Anyone know how to put a tope background colour (matches the right part of
the banner image) that stretches to the max. size of the window like the
main div? My header has a big black 'box' at the top right. I would like
to keep black as the main background colour of the header div though.

Unless someone knows another way to make my header look good.
    Please see:

    Thanks,

    Nice lookin page.
    <div id="header" style="backgrou nd:taupe">
    or #D0D0C0.

You can also divde the header into a 3 column design and color just the
    right division as desired.
But I'd find something else to go with the image thing on the left side.
Like maybe another chair back design?
Facing the opposite angle in towards the center?

      Hi

Fade the image right and blend it into the background colour. What graphics
      program do you use?

Paint Shop Pro 9, which I am really learning to like.

          Hi

I don't have Paintshop Pro, look at this http://tinyurl.com/4bbaf its just
a simple matter of masks and canvas colour, have a look in the help files in
Paintshop pro you should be able to create a fade effect quite easily.

          Cheers

          Paul

The more I use it and learn it, the more powerful I think it is!

Let me say what I really mean.
As I don't know any other powerful image editing programs, this program
              seems amazing to me.
The more I use it and learn it, the more powerful I think it is! And
              inexpensive.
