Trouble setting table height percentage, could CSS fix this?

    Hi,

I am trying to set the height percantage of a table but not having any
    luck. The URL is:

As you can see the home page doesnt reach to the bottom of the screen
if you are viewing on at least 1024x678 res (you may also need to
convert to full screen too). I have set just now the height using HTML
(huh) but I have since learnd this is bad, bad, bad! It doesnt work
    anyway.

Could this be sorted using CSS? How? If not, I know this may be off
topic but could yous recommend any other way of doing this? Cheers

    Good, mistake # 1: don't use tables for layout, mistake # 2 don't assume
that you know the user's viewport dimensions: you don't, use a flexible
    layout.

That's not a url, it's missing the required "http://" part.

Hint: desktop size has nothing to do with viewport size, and your work
should fit the viewport size, not the other way around.

Um, once I increase the text size to something that's actually readable
(200% zoom in my case), it certainly does reach the bottom of the
screen, and my window size is somewhat larger than 1024x768 at the moment.

What I find more troubling is the page not filling the *width* of my
canvas. I've got all this empty space on the right, why don't you use
it? Reading long columns of text with only a couple words per line gets
rather tiresome pretty quickly, you know.
