    Q: IE 6 max-min-height bug. Workaround?

    Dear CSS list reader,

IE6 does not support min-height, max-height. Is there a workaround for
    the following problem?

The left cell - where is the text - has an unknown size, the middle
cell on the right should show the arrow picture. And, most important,
the upper and the lower cell should join without a gap. The
    printscreen shows what I mean.

    Thank you for any comment.

      True

This is irrelevant, as min-height and max-height don't aply to table
cells, or at least they don't anyhow contribute to the way table is laid
      out.

I don't understand this. How can two parts that aren't adjacent be
      joining gaplesly?

What are you really trying to do? Your example is too simple to know what
you are trying to do, even if it demonstrates well what you think should
happen. Why are you using table?

Is there really just one letter in each silver box? Or is that silver box
content at all? If there is something instead letters in silver boxes,
      what it is?
