    help with validation

    Hi,

I used a validation checker to check on my url's to see if it is o.k.
and it isxhmtl compliant and it found some errors, which I do not know
    how to fix.

I would like some help please.

    Thank you very much

The last person to use the group's Crystal Ball has done a runner with
it, so you'll have to provide us with an url.

Yeah, I've meaning to speak to Neal about that. Thing is, I was hoping
to find out who'll win the U.S. presidential elections in November, and
a gaze into the Ball might be just the ticket. If you'll pardon the pun.

Morgon the Magnificent, who sees all and tells all, divines from the
tea leaves that you have TDs that aren't nested inside TRs.

Well, a good first step would be to tell people what
          website you are talking about.

Gazing into the crystal ball(I just borrowed it briefly)
          perhaps you mean http://www.poemstogo.tv/ ?

Forget XHTML and use HTML 4.01 until you understand what XHTML is about
_and_ browsers (_at least_ the most commonly used browser) start actually
            supporting XHTML.

Use nice references like http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/html40/ to get
your HTML right. (That reference presents HTML 4.0, but you will hardly
notice the difference. In case of doubt, consult the authorative though
partly obscure and sloppy specification, http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/ )

Do not use a validator until you understand what it does. For a tutorial
            explanation, see http://www.cs.tut.fi/~jkorpela/html/validation.html
