how to write code in html and what is css??

Hi there:

I am very a beginner in html software..Ive never seen a software of htl so thats why I don't its feature.Becuase in our school only vb6.0,Turbo c, Pascal teaches us by our teacher and macromedia flash and not knowing the other programming languages...

How can i amke a good html or an website which is not ahrd but easy for me to understand

I taught myself HTML from books, but mainly from doing every single tutorial on the w3schools site.

Once you start to get the hang of html then start looking at CSS;

CSS lets you control the look and layout of an HTML document, HTML defines the meaning (semantics) of the content.

Books are the best way to go, w3schools is more of a reference it leaves out a lot of important information. Here's an ok book.

The only way to truly master a langauge is to practice it, so try making a few sites for fun, making each one more complex than the last.

I also agree that w3 schools is a very good site to learn from.
Also, don't forget google. For example, if you wanted to find out about HTML tables, then simply typing HTML table tutorial into google will provide aa abundance of help for you. I personally have never used a book on either HTML or css, and I do it for a living. Not that I am discouraging the use of books but you definitely CAN do it and all it will cost you is your time and effort.
