Help using Dreamweaver MX2004

A little help please.
When I want to display my web page that I'm working on I hit F12, of course it should display the web page but I get this error:
Internet Explorer Cannot display the webpage. ( I get this error with any provider)
and it gives a list of things to look for.

Does anyone knows how to fix this.
is it in Dreamweaver
or is it in the operations: networking, Windows XP???

PS it will work if I drag the file to a provider...

Its strange once you need to preview your web page, you can hit F12 and if didn't save it on a local hard drive it will ask to save. then It should display on the default browser.Like this

file:///D:/Untitled-1.html

Or else you can try the site manager on dreamviewer.
