    Text entry with non-European scripts

    Although I only speak English, I need to learn techniques for publishing
    text using non-European scripts (initially Urdu & Punjabi). I think I'm
    getting there, but I'm having problems finding information about text
    entry, into CMSs or text-based HTML editors, on Windows systems.

    Can anyone advise, or suggest reference material, please?

    You nearly know nothing about the languages Urdu & Punjabi, and you want
    to _type_ texts in the scripts Urdu, Gurmukhi and Shahmukhi?

    As a minimum you will need a text editor with UNICODE BIDI support (Urdu
    and Shahmukhi are right-to-left). Try UltraEdit or Crimson, but I never
    used them with BIDI.

      You'll have to read lots of documentation to do things well
