Help, how to blog???

please help me I want to blog my own site on the web ,but I have no clue how to
do so can any of you people help me out.

If you can please give me:
steps of blogging
what I need
what FTP program I can use
where to blog ect.

You can get a blog here as for how to blog I wouldn't really know ( haven't messed with it ). You can use your internet browser as an ftp if you don't want to download a program type ftp.yoursite.co m then go to File -> Login As. Or if you want a program you can try www.smartftp.co m

This should get you started at least.
