    Letter 'W' Cut-off

Why does the letter 'W' sometimes have its upper
left segment cut off in browsers? I've seen it over the
years in both Internet Explorer and Firefox for PC,
but I've never had a client complain about it until today.

Explanations and/or fixes will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Bad phase of the moon.

You didn't accidentally record the URL of a page where the problem was
reported (and the specific browser), did you?
Explanations and/or fixes will be appreciated.
Sacrifice two pidgeons to Jupiter, reading the prayer "Iuppiter Optime
    Maxime, protege angulos litterarum mearum!"

(For a more serious answer, please ask the question more seriously.)

I agree, I see it all the time - I'm starting to think it really is what
the font is supposed to look like.

So why can't either of you post a single sample URL that would demonstrate
the problem (and possibly the way it was created)?
