e-commerce fax solution

Hey All,

Is there a solution that will allow a website to create a secure
environment where a customer can fiill out an order form and hit a
submit button that will instantly send the document to a toll free fax
number, and then send a copy to an e-mail account, and then totally
eliminate all traces of the original document? Whew.

I had an ISP years ago that did this and they were idiots, so it
should be possible. I think I am less of an idiot than they were, but
could be wrong.

As soon as you fax it, you're perpetrating a fraud on anyone who
trusted your https: security.

email doubly so if unencrypted. Encrypting it requires a passphrase,
and storing a passphrase on a webserver is a huge security issue.

That figures. I expect their idea of "completely eliminate"
may have been less than sophisticated, too.

You'll want an expensive consultant with even more expensive
professional indemnity insurance. Or just outsource it.
