    Help with submission form!

Hi all. I found this forum while searching for an answer to an error message I am getting from my submission form on my website. I hope somebody will be able to help me with this.

A bit of background: I have maintained my website (it's basically for the Labrador Retriever community) for several years through a wonderful host company. This company recently sold to another and I've been having website troubles ever since. Now, the submission form on my site: http://www.tanbraelabradors.com/submitform.htm is coming up with another error message. I had three support tickets in to my new host before they finally replied. They said they had fixed that problem, but here's the new one:

Formmail v1.3 detected the following errors:
    error no.: -2147220977
description: The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server response was: 503 This mail server requires authentication when attempting to send to a non-local e-mail address. Please check your mail client settings or contact your administrator to verify that the domain or address is defined for this server.

Is this a GoDaddy question? Is it a server question? I don't know, and that is why I'm asking here. Or, maybe one of you can tell me what I need to do to correct this problem.

The form has always worked in the past. About a month and half ago, it quit working. I had made no changes to it, other than to re-word a couple things. It worked fine for a few days after uploading the changes. Then it quit working. When I went to my stats, it showed that it had been modified - by whom, I do not know, as I was at work that day and at that time! I'm fairly new to all of this, but I do know when I have made changes!

If you think someone else has changed it then check the current version against your backup (you do have a backup don't you? If not then learn the lesson and start taking backups NOW) to see what has changed.

I think the server authentication thing is about giving the email server a valid username/password so it can be sure that it is sending mail for a authenticated user of that server.

      Thanks Banfa.

Yes, I have backups. Generally, though, I only back up what I have changed. And, when I was going through a divorce, my ex decided to copy our videos onto CDs. In doing so, he just grabbed willy nilly and took my last complete backup of my site. I *suspect* that that is (or was) where my good form backup went. So, I was lucky to get by missing only that. Any way, I DO do backups, which is why up until now, the changes that have been made haven't been difficult to deal with. Just annoying.

In the meantime, I'm still waiting to see what my host is doing as I received their automated reply to my support ticket. I'm really tired of messing with this and just want it fixed! Guess I'll have to break down and start html classes.
