project in .net

iam a 3rd year engineering IT student. iam desperately in need of a project in .net.
but i dnt have much of a clear idea about .net.
but i am going for a course and will be familiar with .net soon...
readers please suggest me projects in .net.
let it be simple or complex. please help me guys..

I can move this question to our Miscellaneous forum for you, but I wouldn't expect much of an answer. You really should come up with your own projects anyway.
