    Object expected error

I am getting this response when I try and go to access a page
    Line: 86
    Char: 4
    Error: Object expected
    Code:0
    URL:http://app1.sba.gov/training/sbprimer/index.html

This is attempting to access a page within the Small Business Association website.

I am not a developer so I have not clue where to turn.

I clean out the cookies and files. I then tried to go directly to the url and the same problem. The screen is also a deep blue color, I don't suppose that cleared anything up..

I had a similar type problem when I tried to view a url related to National Geographic. The error message was different but the result the same, I could not view the page.

I was able to access www.dragonfable .com. When I clicked on one of the icons it brought me to a signon screen.

          I experienced another problem today.
          The message was
          Line: 230
          Char: 3
Error: ClassFactory cannot supply requested class
          Code: 0
          URL:http://www.msnbc.com/id/2110725.

the error is in the javascript, it has nothing to do with your computer its from the website. as long as your javascript is enabled (by default) there is nothing u can do on your end.

This is now happening on a number of sites that I visit. How can I check to see that I have javascript enabled. I may have disabled it without even knowing it. I sometimes dabble...

                follow this to re-enable javascript:

                Code:
                Open Internet Explorer.
                Select [B]Internet Options[/B] from the [B]Tools[/B] menu.
In Internet Options dialog box select the [B]Security tab[/B].
Click [B]Custom level button [/B] at bottom right. The Security settings dialog box will pop up.
Under [B]Scripting[/B] category check Active Scripting, Allow paste options via script and Scripting of Java applets
                Check radio boxes.
Click OK twice to close out.
                good luck

What version of Explorer are you referring to? I don't fine Active Scripting below the Scripting category.

                  I am using 7.0.5730.11.

By now you are probably wishing you had never replied to my problem(s). I seem to be running into problems everytime I go to a different web page.

                      Here's the most recent response

                      A Runtime Error has occurred.
                      Do you wish to Debug
                      Line: 533
                      Error: Object expected.

whether I click on Yes or No, the message simply disappears and I can see the web page I was looking for.

Again, I greatly appreciate your help
