    Real estate broker site design

    Hello,

We are considering real estate website design for our broker site, they have told us that after the site is done I should consider search engine marketing to get the best ROI on the site. Has anyone used SEO services before? I am a newbie to this field and am not sure if it will be worth it. Please advise.

Search Engine Optimization is more than worth it, especially if you have a business. Not only will it get your site submitted to most if not all of the major and minor search engines out there, it will also help to drastically improve your returned ranking in the order of things if done correctly.

Unfortunately, depending on the SEO skills of those doing the optimization, you could end up paying a pretty penny for the services.

I would also be wary of the companies that guarantee a high ranking on pages like Google. Getting a top ranking on Google is not an easy thing to do and if you do, then I would ensure that the methods used are not ones that would get your site banned from the Google listings if investigated by....well....G oogle.

Other than that, do your homework with regards to who is doing the work.

Also, please do not posts personal URLs in the regular forums (all forums except the Jobs forum) as they are not allowed and will be removed, as you have seen.

      Regards,

      Jeff
