    Please Help With Script Error!

Hi there. Totally new to all this. First Timer. Well here is the problem. I recently started having script error messages popping up on my computer as soon as i log on, and it does not matter if I click yes or no, it will not go away! So I have to "x" out of it numerous times in order for it to finally vanish. However, another of the same bundle of script error messages appears in the corner of the screen, and i have to go through the same process, and when I finally finish with that, more appear! Not only that, but the script error messages do not have and Line, Char, and Error numbers, or a Code, or a URL. So it is quite blank.

An error has occured in the script on this page.

    Line:
    Char:
    Error:
    Code:
    URL:

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

^^ That is what it looks like incase my description was not precise.
And this message comes up as soon as I log on.

How do I stop this and get rid of it?
I also think it is handicapping my computer's performance, because it is not coming up with a lot of the websites I wish to visit. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Have a great day!

It sounds to me like you have some ad-ware/spyware/virus/trojan.... ok

What I would do is the following but this question does not belong in the javascript forum. I will go ahead and move/copy this to the correct location.

    - Download Ad-Aware 2007 and scan your computer.
    - If you don't have virus protection get AVG Antivirus Free Edition and scan your computer.
