    Command line

Can anyone trace what commands are typed into the command prompt? If so, how?

Perhaps if you define what you mean by trace ...

      Heya, niskin.

In *n?x systems that use bash, each User has a .bash_history file in his home directory. You'll need to su as root to access another User's history file, though.

It is possible to bypass .bash_history, though (either by setting the HISTFILE environment variable, or by making .bash_history a symbolic link to /dev/null).

Ok, what about windows. What I mean by trace is, if I were to use wmic /node:"<computer-name>" and run a command on the remote computer, is it possible to tell which user and computer ran that command remotely.
