Question about VIM settings?

Hi,

I am sure we have lot of users who are using VIM for coding Perl. Could you please tell me how to save font and colour settings permanently in VIM.

I prefer Blue and Courier New font; I’m not sure how to make this change permanent. Every time I close and re-open VIM its back to default settings. Pls help.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I am using Windows 7.

While you are possibly coding in Perl, this is a VIM question. I am moving it to the Desktop Software forum.
