What's the best way to clean a Laptop Screen?

Maybe a bit of an odd question, but what's the best way to clean a laptop screen? I gather I shouldn't use soap and water, as it is, well, a COMPUTER, but I'm not sure what I can do other than dust it off with a paper towel or something dry. After doing this, there are always still smudges and other marks all over the screen, which are noticeable to a dark background is being displayed.

Actually, they are more "cleanable" than you think. I use window cleaner and even alcohol wipes to clean mine and it works like a champ. Obviously you don't press too very hard as you can break it, but you are definitely able to clean it with either window cleaner or alcohol pads (which is probably more prefered).

    Regards,

    Jeff

I've used alcohol pads but haven't tried window cleaner. Interesting!

Its alcohol based, but has those extra goodies for getting the finger prints off. I haven't had any damage yet from it, just a nice clean screen.
