Do you think a 50 year old male with no degree can still become a coder?

I've learned and coded for fun a few apps on js, all in full stack.
how much do you think it is possible to get a job, and what kind of experience/apps should i presented to even be looked at?

Get your work up on a Github profile if you haven't.
Setup a Linkedin account where you can share your progress in what you are learning or any projects you have taken on.

As Jeffer said, yes go ahead and apply for some roles.
The demand is high enough you can probably start doing free lancing roles and use them as valid references.

There are exceptional resources out there for software job interviews to help you get an idea what employers might be looking for.

The work you do will go for more than anything else.
Work on some certifications for some cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, Azure.

I've been trying for this for this year.
For now, I have had two interviews.
If I had been willing to travel, I think they would have caught me.
So, yes, I think a male of 50 (or even more) without a degree can still become a programmer

Yes, I feel you can still become a coder even if you are 50 year old.
Age is just a number, and since coding does not require to have a degree. You can learn it since you have the skill to and implement.
It takes you just 1-2 month to do a crash course on coding.

Judging from my experience I can say you for sure that you should try and after couple of weeks training - you can find out whether it is for you or not.

I think it all depends on your knowledge. Ageism is being dealt with now, so I don't think you have any problems with it. Good luck!
