The best software to run C++ programs

I need to know what is the best software to run C++ programs on Windows Vista.

Whatever you are most comfortable with.

Visual C++ is probably your best bet as it was made by Microsoft for their OS, but that's really not saying much with the quality of code that they put out...

I can't give recommendations for a particular product.

There are several fine compilers out there.

There is no one who is best,
In my opinion you can use visual studio, I am using it in my xp
In it works fine but i don't know about vista,
you can try it, and also let me know

visual studios works great on vista...well, at least the 2005 version.

I would recommend reading about/ trying different programs to see which one you like.
