C++ school project

this is my first course in C++ and I am writing a discount program. I have to write a code that will discount 7% off the price if the consumer's four digit account number is divisibly by 7 or if the ID contains a number 7.

I do not know where to begin. Any suggestions?

Well, answer a few questions for yourself:

1) How will you get the price?
2) How will you get the customer's ID?
3) Once you have the ID, how will you determine whether or not to give the discount?
4) How will you apply the discount?
