Error with Tabs in Access form

Hello,

I have an issue with Access tabs which i cannot fix it.

Before, I had 3 separate forms A, B, C. I tried to create another form where i wanted to create Tabs and copy the other 3 forms in the tabs.

After i did so, it is not allowing me to write in the fields. And the the bottom displaying this message (Control cannot be edited, its' bound to unknown field...)

Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong or maybe i cannot just copy and paste other forms in a tab??

Any tip or suggestion is appreciated !

I'm guessing with little detail to go on, but I suspect you've copied either a form with existing controls, or a single control, from somewhere else (another form) and the field it's bound to is not available on where the control is now. Check (and probably delete the value in) the ControlSource property of the control.

Yes Neo, that what i have done actually. I had the 3 forms with a macros in it. But later decided to have one form with tabs instead of having 3 forms.
I copied the other 3 forms from design view and pasted them in the tab...

I fixed those, now i am able to enter the data normal, but transferspreads heet is not working. Only the outputto macro is working.
When i was using the transferspreads heet option, i had a formula in the excel file, which was calculating me the totals of the fields. With the outputto option, it wont save my formulas, it is re-writing all the file kind of.
Is it possible also to have each tab into different sheets in the excel file?

That's a separate question Harry, so if you want to discuss that you need to post it in a new thread. I can say that it certainly is possible to specify which worksheet to write to as it always matches the name of the table or query specified for the output.

If you do choose to ask a new question on this then I should advise you to try a little harder to make the question clear and understandable. Any ambiguity from lack of information wastes everybody's time, including your own of course.
