    How to use standard date format

    Hi to all,
    I unable to solve this problem.
    Iam using vb6.0 anb msaccess 2003
    Problem:
    Iam uploading data from various excel.The problem is with the date format only while uploading the date format changing as

    Date format in access dd/mmm/yyyy

    while uploading date changes like
    01/07/2008 (dd/mm/yyyy) - 07/01/2008

    after 12 th date its working fine

    and this database in the multiuser path.each user having different date format
    i dont know how to handle can any one advice me.


    it becoming a black problem for me . please

    Have you tried using the Format function. Such as

    [code=vb]
    fmtDate=Format( DateField,"Shor t Date")
    [/code]

    Or use any of the other format options for date. Check out MS link
    Format function

      Literal DateTimes and Their Delimiters (#) may provide some insight as to why the dates are swapping days and months. It stops being a problem after the twelfth of the month as a number greater than 12 can never be mistaken for a month so is treated correctly as the day.
