I need big hand of help coz I'm stuck in a huge puddle of access mess I made. I need to view my query in a report, I know it's easy for access because it provides a custom made report and you need only to pick the query you desire. But lately the outcome isn't half of what I need. I have a template that I want to follow, its an activity template, I made it as an image, so I made it as a background on my report, I was happy because it was successful it fits on the right sides, but my problem begins to surface when I start adding my controls on the report, I set my query in a tabular setting in report so that I can drag and adjust the location of each control, it can be on the top left or right etc. now I noticed that the items listed on my table fields began to disappear when I tried to view it, confused with what I did, I tried to manipulate it using a code:
Private Sub Report_Open(Can cel As Integer)
Me.txtActivityT ype.Top = 7.8333
Me.txtActivityT ype.Left = 1.375
End Sub
but I definitely noticed that the problem is bigger than what I know, How can I manipulate the controls on my report without affecting the listed items? please help me understand this, I'm an in-experienced report maker in access and I really want to retain my template because of printing purposes. pls help!!
thanks in advance :)
