Using a MDE file as a data source?

Is it possible to use a MDE file as an obdc data source?
    If so how? What steps?

    I am lost!

    Heya, Reeveb. Welcome to TSDN!

I'm going to go ahead and move this thread to the Oracle forum, where our resident Experts will be better able to help you out.

I am confused! Since the MDE file is a MSAccess file why would you move this to the Oracle forum?

Cause I'm neither an Access nor an Oracle developer. I just assumed the first 'O' in ODBC stands for 'Oracle'. Oops.

I have notified an Oracle admin that this thread needs to be moved.

I am not 100% sure, but I do not believe that an ODBC Driver exists for a .mde file.

Just FYI pbmods! ODBC stands for Open Data Base Connectivity. Another reason i just LOVE acronyms :-)
