    Filter subform using a combo box

    hi i have already tried using the cascading updating advice from a previous post but it tells me that.the subform is not compatible with the command i typed in .can anyone tell me exactly how to filter a subform using a combo box?

    You did not provide near enough info to specifically diagnose your problem. At this point, all that can be done is to point you to two general reference sources and let you try and figure out where you went wrong:

    Referencing nested subforms can get pretty hairy. If your filter is ok, but you have a referencing problem, see this link:
