Linking multiple tables to different subforms on tab control

    I have the following problem....

tbl-Quote <- this includes the customer details and the QuoteRefNumber
tbl-Parts <- this has the parts included in the customer Quote. it also has a QuoteRefNumber which matches the tbl-Quote.QuoteRefN umber

I have a Form with a tab control - this Control has a Tab for the customer details - frm-Customer from the tbl-Quote and a tab for Parts - frm-parts which should pick up from tbl-Parts.

So far the can get it to show the frm-Customer ok but not the frm-Parts

Also I have made sure that there is an entry in the tbl-Parts for this QouteRefNumber

I have got it to display the record set by using the Link Master/Child properties however when I try and edit anything on the Parts tab i get a "Recordset is not updatable" - however I don't get this on the "Customer Details" Tab

And the only way i've been able to get the record to Display in the Parts tab is to have the 'RecordsSet Type' to SnapShot.

    Any thoughts. ??

What's your record source for your main form and sub form?

The main form must contain in its record source the primary or foreign key common to all subforms.
