    Reverting Overwrite

    Hi all,

    I am working on an access project and made mistake of overwriting my current version with my backup.

    can somebody help on way to revert back

    Unless I'm very much mistaken, you don,t have a way back when you overwrite data. If deleted then the space taken by the data is still in existance. The overwrite is a complete replace

    I hope I,m wrong, but I really don't think so

      I'm afraid you're out of luck unless you take it to a data recovery professional or purchase some software, and even then it's iffy.

        You can't recover data that was overwritten, unfortunately.

        If the new file you have is shorter than the original one, you maybe able to find the raw fragments from the original version manually on the disk.

        Try your luck and see if any recovery program can help you!
