    VBA Modules, ADO etc...

    For those who are just starting out, like myself, this is a useful tool for use with modules and I have struggled over the past few days with opening recordsets the right way (although I found this after I found my solution...it would have been a lot more helpful than all the books I had available)

    and the site I found this on: developersdex.c om has some great code samples that you may find very useful...when in doubt and while waiting for a reply on here, I'd check out that site

    Hey, Kosmos! You need to be aware that, as odd as it seems, not all VB is created equal! A lot of VB 5 & 6 can be used in Access (VBA) but there are beaucoup situations where things available in VB isn't available in VBA. Even more frustrating, there are functions available in both that don't necessarily do the same thing in both!

      Yes this is good to point out...but at least it illustrates the anouncement of lock and cursor types...all the books I was using did not mention these options and I couldn't figure out how to write into the other table
