Hi -

How can you have vbYes say something else like "update field" and vb no say "don't update field", instead of yes no buttons?

I don't think you can change the text of Yes No. You can however, add your own message.

      Dim strMsg As String
        strMsg = strMsg & "Would you like to update it?"
        
            If MsgBox(strMsg, vbYesNo, "Updated") = vbYes Then
            
            MsgBox ("Updated")
            Else
            MsgBox ("Not updated")
