    Oops; database corrupt

Our access database got corrupted and now we get the message
"The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time."

Can this be reset or is the database toast?

Proceed with compact and repair options in Tools/Database Utilities

That is where I am getting the message.
I cannot open, compact or repair the database.

Copy it to a new folder and then try again!

What is the message that appears when you try to compact and repair the copied database?

Try only to open the database in its new location!
