    can i use a wireless usb dongle to increase the wifi receiving coverage of my pc?

    I have a laptop that was capable to receive WiFi signal in a certain place. My problem is I always transfer my laptop time to time to the nearest vicinity just to detect and get Unsecured Wireless Connection to connect to internet. My Question is it possible to use USB Wireless Dongle/Receiver to 5 meter USB Cable on my laptop to maximize the its capacity to receive/detect a wide range of Wireless Networks along my places? please help

      unable to access wifi on iPad/iPhone through Sonicwall?

      At my company, we have a SonicWall Router which offers wi-fi. On my iPad/iPhone, I am able to see the SonicWall wi-fi network, select it and log into it, but when I try to access any web page or any app that uses internet via wi-fi, it says the page could not be loaded.

      Does anyone know of anything with SonicWall or the Mac Mobile OS that would be causing this?

      Or a workaround so I can access the internet wirelessly...

          Using Ubuntu 10.04
          RT2860 but the folder is
          "2009_0521_RT28 60_Linux_STA_V2 .1.2.0/"
          and home folder is
          jyzrxal

          I need instructions that explicitly using MY home folder name, spells out what I'm suppose to do.

              Hi, is there in Java any command or API for manage wireless connections?
              I want to create an application for auto-scan wireless networks and manage connection profiles (password, ip...).
              I'm using socket for communication between two hosts, but now I want to add a level for manage the wireless connection, to by-pass the windows XP wireless manage application.
