My problem is I always transfer my laptop time to time to the nearest vicinity just to detect and get Unsecured Wireless Connection to connect to internet. My Question is it possible to use USB Wireless Dongle/Receiver to 5 meter USB Cable on my laptop to maximize the its capacity to receive/detect a wide range of Wireless Networks along my places? please help

I have a pppoe cable modem internet connection. the internet cable connects directly to the network port (rj-45 lan port) on the back of my pc. there is a single port. I want to create a wi fi network with my above connection. Is there any way to do so. what will the devices which are required. is there any usb device which can create a wi fi network while being attached to my usb port.

I'd like to be able to use my WiFi to make cheaper or free calls and not have to use so much of my network minutes.

Well i have a problem, i need to sync tasks between multiple computers through a mobile ad-hoc network down to around 5 - 10ms in difference between the process.

Anyone have any ideas on how this could be accomplished or any other applications that might be similar that i can take a look at.

I have recently bought Belkin N150 wifi router. I am able to access internet when i have disabled the security,but when i turn on WEP security and try to connect it through windows,it accepts the key but then it says "Limited connectivity" and i am unable to access internet. Also,1 of my laptop does'nt even detect any wireless network when i switch on the WEP security. But at the same time i can access internet without any...
