Really strange problem here.
I have a server SBS 2003 and exchange 2003. I have several laptops working over vpn and recently have a few acer travelmate laptops with win7 64bit (same as the others).
The problem is when I try connect over vpn these laptops get access to shared folders etc. but ms outlook 2010 shows disconnected. If I log in with domain admin account outlook connects fine over the same vpn connection....

super slow GUI on split MS access database
Hi,
I have a split database (tables (1.3MB) on server and GUI (7MB) on both server and laptop).
When opening the GUI using a vpn connection on the laptop the application loads very slowly and when i open a form (from a menu in the GUI) it takes forever to load.
when it has loaded the form and i choose a record from a dropdown list in the form it takes forwever again to load.

I am working in social outreach program with five branches across the country and the headquarter which is located in the capital.
My boss wants to set up a sort of private network, in order to streamline the information flow between the branches and headquarter. Currently the information/report relies on emails and sometimes courier services(for distributing large volume of data via CDs and external HDDs). We want to change for the better....
