In my project I have to create some files and directories into my app folder which is into program files. But in vista it is giving me error that I dont have access to create file. What should I do now for giving access ? Also it not let me access the registry !!

I'm getting the error 339 for missing tabctl32.ocx when running my vb6 app in vista or windows 7. I've installed every SP6 update I can get for VB6. I'm using Install Shield 10 to make my install disc. In the system folder of the install disc, I'm still getting a version of tabctl32.ocx from year 2000 when the newer version should be 6.1.98.16 (3-24-09).

The last time I installed windows vista (home premium) sp1 from windows updates, it failed to install after boot, and kept failing on each boot. So I re-installed via the system recovery option at POST (PC has a seperate partition with windows backup files)

Hi guys, I am beta testing Windows 7 and I got all my programs to run fine except for WordPerfect X3.

Here is what happens: When I launch the program it will say there is an error and WordPerfect needs to be closed, this happens every time.

I installed the latest Service Pack 2 but the problem persists. The other programs in the Office X3 work fine, just the WordPerfect keeps crashing on start.
