Dear,

I have just deployed my website in IIS6 (Windows Server 2003) and have a problem:

- Can access with http://localhost/

- Cannot access via IP Address (http://192.168.1.3 - is my IP)

- Cannot access via PC's name (http://hciss/ - is my PC's name).

I want to access my website from another PC in my LAN network. How to resolve this problem?

At the time of trial we use localhost, everything runs fine. But at the moment after we uploaded the web on web hosting, there are problems on the whole use of the session state, where the problem causing the loss of user data that has been logged in the stored in the session.

On a server (IP xx.xx.xx.xx) I would like to host multiple websites (www.website1.xxx, www.website2.yyy, www2.website3.z zz).

I have assigned www.website1.xxx and www2.website3.z zz the IP xx.xx.xx.xx.

In the www folder of the server I have Folder1 (for website1) and Folder2 (for website3).

Hi all,
I was wondering that is it possible to host a website on IIS 7.0 using our own computers?? in other words can we turn our own system into a web server so we dont have to depend upon an ISP?
just using try-fail approach, I loaded my website on IIS on my own system, and the contents are not accessible on any other machine.

I am sending a mail through the ASP.NET application.

When i sent it from local network where internet access is available, it successfully delivered at target email account.

I run my .net application in my local, it runs fine and displays the images that i have used in the page. But when i access the solution from a different machine in the same LAN, i am able to see the page, but the images are not getting shown. what could be the problem??
